Real talk. Real connection. Real healing.

About.

DIFFERENT ON PURPOSE

I believe healing happens through connection, honesty, and safety. My approach is direct, compassionate, and deeply respectful of your process. Together, we’ll work toward the change and clarity you’re seeking.

I’ve spent over a decade helping people navigate the hard, human parts of life: grief, trauma, identity shifts, relationship ruptures, and the deep desire to feel whole again. My background spans individual therapy, couples work, trauma recovery, and now advanced training in sexology as a PhD candidate. Every step of my career has deepened my belief in one thing: real healing begins when we’re met with real connection.

My work blends clinical expertise with curiosity and a grounded, real world approach to therapy. I don’t do jargon. I meet people where they are with warmth, respect, and a readiness to go deep. Whether I’m working with clients, teaching, or creating content, my goal is always the same: to make conversations about mental health, relationships, and sexuality more accessible, more honest, and more empowering.

This page offers a glimpse into the work I love and the heart behind it.
If it aligns with what you’re seeking, I’d love to connect.

FAQs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I work with people who are ready to deepen their self understanding and relationships. Many of my clients are navigating trauma recovery, intimacy challenges, life transitions, or patterns of disconnection they’re ready to heal. My practice is affirming and inclusive, providing a supportive space for clients of all genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and identities to explore what authenticity and connection mean for them.

I integrate evidence based approaches from trauma, couples, sex therapy, and neuropsychology. Drawing from the Gottman Method, attachment theory, relational neuroscience, and somatic practices, I help clients cultivate emotional regulation, secure attachment, and deeper, more authentic connection.

Yes. At this time, I only offer telehealth sessions. Many clients find that virtual therapy allows them to feel more comfortable and consistent in their care.

I work with select insurance providers for individual therapy only. I do not accept insurance for couples therapy. Many clients use out of network benefits. If your plan allows, I can provide a superbill for reimbursement.

The length of therapy depends on your goals. Some clients come for short term support focused on a specific issue, while others prefer longer term therapy to create lasting change. We’ll discuss what makes sense for you during our initial sessions.

If you value depth, growth, and a collaborative approach, we’ll likely work well together. I offer a compassionate, direct style that helps clients explore their inner world while building the skills to connect more fully with themselves and with others.

Not at all. Sex therapy is about connection, communication, and self understanding. Yes, we might talk about what happens in bed, but more often, we’re talking about what happens in your head and heart.

Nope. You set the pace. We start with what feels comfortable for you and build trust from there. You’ll never be pushed to discuss something before you’re ready.

You can still start. Working on your own patterns, boundaries, and confidence often leads to changes that shift your relationship dynamic naturally. And sometimes, once one person starts, partners get curious and join later.

Therapy with me is a conversation, not an interrogation. You can expect curiosity, compassion, education, and a few “aha” moments. We’ll explore what’s happening now, where it comes from, and how to shift it.

Therapy goes deeper. We look at psychological, relational, and emotional patterns that affect your wellbeing. Coaching can be great for skill building or goals, but therapy supports healing and long term change.

You can book directly through my secure client portal or send a message through the contact form on this website. I’ll reply personally to confirm and help with next steps.
