About.
DIFFERENT ON PURPOSE
I believe healing happens through connection, honesty, and safety. My approach is direct, compassionate, and deeply respectful of your process. Together, we’ll work toward the change and clarity you’re seeking.
I’ve spent over a decade helping people navigate the hard, human parts of life: grief, trauma, identity shifts, relationship ruptures, and the deep desire to feel whole again. My background spans individual therapy, couples work, trauma recovery, and now advanced training in sexology as a PhD candidate. Every step of my career has deepened my belief in one thing: real healing begins when we’re met with real connection.
My work blends clinical expertise with curiosity and a grounded, real world approach to therapy. I don’t do jargon. I meet people where they are with warmth, respect, and a readiness to go deep. Whether I’m working with clients, teaching, or creating content, my goal is always the same: to make conversations about mental health, relationships, and sexuality more accessible, more honest, and more empowering.
This page offers a glimpse into the work I love and the heart behind it.
If it aligns with what you’re seeking, I’d love to connect.

Alicia is the best therapist I have ever had in my life. She is the best listener and has a great perspective on all things related to life, relationships, hardships, and challenging moments. One of the things I struggled with most was building relationships not only with a companion, but with friends and family too. She is the easiest person to talk to and I am so grateful for her. Alicia is very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. To know Alicia is to love Alicia. I cannot say enough great things about her. I highly recommend booking a session with Alicia.

Alicia is simply amazing. From my first session, she has been kind and understanding, provided great tools and methods, and overall is just so insightful. I’ve done therapy before, but no one I have ever spoken to truly took the time to see all parts of my experience, including body language and tone of voice, with such compassion and provide such helpful tools to work through it. I could not recommend her enough.

Alicia has been so helpful in navigating a challenging time of my life. She has reflected back to me, encouraged me, challenged me when needed, and provided resources that complement my approaches to problem solving. She’s been a fantastic support and resource.
